Elis Manomatic opens a new plant in Barcelona’s Zona Franca district and creates 300 new jobs

The French firm, Elis Manomatic, will invest 21 million euros in an industrial laundry plant in Barcelona’s Zona Franca district. This project, which received the support and assessment of Catalonia Trade & Investment and the collaboration of the Barcelona Zona Franca Consortium (CZFB), will create 300 jobs. The multinational, European leader in its sector, will have a 26,160 m2 plot in the Zona Franca industrial park, specifically located in D street, at number 28-30. There, Elis Manomatic will build a 13,000 m2 plant out of which it will handle a capacity of 500 tons of linen for hotels and restaurants throughout Catalonia. Elis Manomatic is multiservice group for rental and maintenance of textile and hygiene articles in Europe and Latin America. With a total of 21,000 employees in 13 countries and a turnover of 1,415 million euros, this French multinational has more than 240,000 customers in the sectors of hospitality, health, industry and trade.
