Barcelona to house new european research centre for ca labs europe

CA technologies, the it software and management solutions multinational, has announced that the new european research facility of ca labs europe is now operational. it will be run jointly with the universitat politècnica de catalunya, barcelonatech (upc) from its barcelona base.

CA labs europe will lead advanced research projects and work on innovation in it management in order to meet both new developing and future demand from the world of business. the first five projects run by the centre will involve the participation of 10 researchers from the data management group, (a tecnio research centre).

invest in catalonia, in conjunction with acc1ó’s new york office, has provided counselling and information to ca technologies, which have proved essential in setting up this new european research centre.
