Ascamm Foundation plans to invest 6 million Euros to expand its technology center in Catalonia. The project will double the current available surface to 11,000 square meters, Ascamm director Xavier Lopez said.
The expansion will allow the addition of new technological equipment and a 70% increase in innovation projects. Ascamm has also announced plans to increase its workforce by 60% with highly qualified personnel, including industrial engineers, and experts in biomedical sciences and physics.
Ascamm, which is considered one of the most important tech centers in Spain, carried out about 60 projects of R&D and Innovation last year.
