Catalonia Trade & Investment is organizing an event at Harvard University, USA, to share knowledge on place-based policies around the world and to showcase Catalonia's success story in cluster policy.

ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade and Investment organizes the event "The emergence of place-based policies. The Catalan case of cluster policy", an opportunity to learn more about the importance of place-based policies around the world, including the US. The event will present the business case of Catalonia's cluster policy, recently published by the Harvard Business School.

Christian Ketels, Harvard Business School faculty member and author of the case 'Three Decades of Cluster Policy in Catalonia. What's next?' will participate at the event, together with Joan Martí, Director of Business Strategy at ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment, and Elisabeth Reynolds, a consultant on industrial transformation and lecturer at MIT. They will share with participants their insights and experiences with place-based policies. Catalan executives based in Boston are welcome to attend, as well as the academic community and professionals interested in economic development.

The event will take place on Tuesday, March 26, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Harvard Faculty Club (20 Quincy St., Cambridge, MA 02138) and will provide a unique opportunity to network with other business leaders and academics, share knowledge, and create synergies with the Catalan community in the Boston area.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a networking coffee from 5 pm to 6 pm.
