Lufthansa italia starts operations in catalonia with a new barcelona-milan service

German carrier lufthansa has started operations of its new italian subsidiary with a daily flight between barcelona and milan's malpensa airport. according to the airline, the maiden flight was made with an airbus 319 with about 100 passengers. the new airline has also started service to paris, with one daily flight.
lufthansa italia plans to add more european cities in the near future, including madrid, brussels, budapest, london or lisbon.
