At the event, the Secretary of Business and Competitiveness from the Government of Catalonia, Albert Castellanos, stated: "The key element for the transformation of any organization is cultural change, a change in mentality, and ultimately, in people."

Castellanos described the 10 Catalonia Exponential Leaders as "the most rebellious companies of the moment, an example of the path to take to develop new business models". Some examples show, in his opinion, "that disruptive innovation is a risky leap but that it can give far greater benefits".

The General Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Lluís Juncà, assured: "We are making progress in the push to get more companies to move from incremental innovation to more disruptive innovation ever since the Catalonia Exponential program began in 2019.”

“This is very important to inspire other companies and entrepreneurs to create the business models that will transform the future”, Juncà added.
