The Department of Business and Labour of the Catalan Government, through ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment, will promote the participation of 30 Catalan companies with a stand in Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), 50% more than last year.

These are the companies that will be in the Catalan Pavilion at the ISE, the most important event in the audiovisual sector in Europe that will be held between 10 and 13 May at Fira de Barcelona.

This was announced by the Minister of Business and Labour, Roger Torrent, during a meeting with the Executive Director of ISE, Michael Blackman.

During the meeting, Torrent said that ISE, together with the MWC, "will consolidate Catalonia as a leading territory in Europe in the digital and audiovisual sector and will position Barcelona as one of the world's great capitals from a technological perspective".

Torrent added: "The growth potential of ISE has a great driving force to contribute to the transformation of the country's productive fabric and, at the same time, attract new investment projects from multinationals in the sector."

The ISE, organized by the associations AVIXA and CEDIA and previously located in Amsterdam, was held last year for the first time in Barcelona in a small format due to the pandemic.

The executive director of ISE, Michael Blackman, stated: “We are very much looking forward to arriving in Barcelona in a few days: the ISE is a very international event, and this year we are delighted to have the participation of more than 800 exhibitors from 43 countries who will show new innovations in all areas of audiovisual technology and seek to build sustainable businesses in the region ”.

Blackman added: "We hope to continue our strong relations with the city and the region to make investments in Barcelona in the coming years. We forecast that the event will provide 250-300 million euros in the economy of Barcelona, growing to 500 million euros in 2026 ".
