Technological company VeriTran sets up its new European headquarters in Barcelona

  • The platform, which employs over 250 people globally, is used by more than 50 institutions around the world, reaching over 15 million users.

VeriTran, a technological company that promotes digital transformation, has opened its new European headquarters in Barcelona. The company will lead its expansion into the rest of Europe from the Catalan capital. The company currently has offices in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and the United States.

VeriTran, which has more than 250 employees globally, provides a low-code technology platform that accelerates and simplifies the development of digital apps for businesses in several industries. The digital firm integrates new technologies into existing systems to improve deployment times and application development costs without coding. In fact, the company has worked for the financial sector for over 15 years and is now expanding its technology to industries such as insurance, health and retail.

According to the founder and CEO of VeriTran, Marcelo González, “the need for digital transformation in the world we live in today has become a matter of survival for many industries. Currently, everyone thinks of being 100% digital, and this thought is here to stay”.

As part of its business strategy and international expansion, VeriTran has chosen Barcelona as a market that’s “constantly looking for innovation” and a starting point to reach “countries where innovation and digital transformation are vital for the growth of companies”.

Currently, VeriTran’s platform is used by more than 50 institutions around the world, reaching over 15 million users who make 10 billion transactions a year. In 2019, the company’s turnover grew by 40% compared to the previous year.
