Top italian law firm pavia e ansaldo opens offices in barcelona

The italian law firm pavia e ansaldo, one the country’s most important legal consultancies, has opened in catalonia its first office in southern europe outside italy. the process of locating this firm in barcelona received the support of the catalan government via catalonia trade & investment, the public agency in charge of foreign investment attraction. 

pavia e ansaldo, specialised in corporate legal consultancy, will advise on business investments in italy and in other countries where it operates. with a team of 130 lawyers internationally, it has offices in milan, rome, moscow, saint petersburg, tokyo and brussels. 

the lawyer meritxell roca ortega is the partner heading this new barcelona headquarters. she was the president of the spanish chamber of commerce in italy from 1999 to 2008, and has twenty years’ experience in legal counselling to spanish firms interested in the italian market. 

according to the managing partner of pavia e ansaldo, stefano bianchi, “the opening of the new headquarters is completely in line with the firm’s strategy of giving support to italian and spanish companies in their process of establishing and consolidating themselves in those international markets where our company has a presence”.
