The Dutch group Plato Group, dedicated to the sale of merchandise and promotional products, has opened an office in Barcelona from which it will serve the 13 different European countries where it is present. The company has already created 15 jobs for this new office, which has begun operations during the second quarter of the year with the foresight to hire up to 25 employees this year.

Plato Group has had the support of the Catalan Government through Catalonia Trade & Investment.

According to the director of Plato Group, Ron Boer, the company has chosen Barcelona "for the talent availability it offers". The company plans to centralize in Barcelona the marketing activity of its future brands.

Plato Group, based in Helmond (The Netherlands), was founded 72 years ago and is present in 13 European markets such as Belgium, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Denmark and Austria, countries where it has offices that serve the rest of Europe. The group has a global staff of 400 workers and a turnover exceeding 65 million euros.
