- ‘Financial Times’ highlights IESE’s capacity to provide executives with new abilities and knowledge, its customized programs for clients and participants’ personalised monitoring after programs.
Financial Times has ranked IESE Business School as the first centre for executive education training in the world for the fifth consecutive year. IESE, which has its main campus in Barcelona and also branch campuses in cities like New York, Munich, Sao Paulo and Madrid, is the only management school receiving this recognition five times in a row since the paper started the classification in 1999.
The British international economy newspaper highlights IESE’s capacity to provide executives with new abilities and knowledge, its customized programs for clients and participants’ personalised monitoring after programs. The faculty staff and how they drive different thinking and perspective in students through their innovative methodology is another strength according to Financial Times.
IESE offers more than 30 open programs and over 5,000 students all over the world take part in their custom programs each year. Its bond with renowned international schools like Harvard, Wharton or CEIBS provides a huge networking dynamic worth the recognition. In fact, the business centre has designed different custom programs for global level clients such as Abertis, BMW Group, Caixabank, Naturgy, Nissan, Schneider Electric, Shiseido and Telefónica, among others.
Mireia Rius, Executive Education director and member of IESE’s Management Council, proudly appreciates the top position in the paper’s ranking as “a reflection of the trajectory IESE has in high level programs’ execution, which states our teaching capacity through rigorous research and high personalisation”. Rius also says “the world is quickly changing and organisations which want to thrive in the current business context need new kinds of leadership abilities and capacities”.
