46 Catalan companies to participate in the Government’s stand at the Barcelona Industry Week

The Government of Catalonia will facilitate the participation of 46 Catalan companies and technology centers with a stand at the Barcelona Industry Week held this week at Fira de Barcelona venues in Montjuïc and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. Companies will be located at the IoT Solutions World Congress, Blockchain Solutions World i In(3D)ustry congresses that are part of the Barcelona Industry Week, the international meeting that aims to promote the digital transformation of the industrial sectors and of the industry 4.0.

Overall, the event will attract more than 21,000 visitors and gather 550 exhibiting companies and nearly 600 experts. The different fairs will focus on subjects such as mass or personalized manufacturing, process automation, intelligent connectivity or cybersecurity, among others.

IoT Solutions World Congress

Specifically, 27 Catalan companies and technology centers will present their products and services in the Catalan stand at the IoT Solutions World Congress (21 companies participated in last year's edition), which will be held in Fira de Barcelona’s venue in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. This is the highest number of companies that participate with the Catalan Government’s support in this conference, which promotes the convergence between technologies such as IoT, artificial intelligence and blockchain, and includes both the commercial exhibition of products and services as well as test benches of new technologies.

Blockchain Solutions World

Also at the Exhibition Center of L'Hospitalet and within the Barcelona Industry Week, the second edition of the Blockchain Solutions World Congress, jointly organized by Fira de Barcelona and the Bécon platform (Blockchain Ecosystem Network), will bring together leading international experts, as well as representatives of companies that successfully implement blockchain technology in areas as diverse as transportation, industry, health, energy, entertainment and government, among others.

In (3D) ustry From Needs To Solutions

On the other hand, the Catalan stand at the In(3D)ustry From Needs To Solution congress, which will be located at Fira de Barcelona’s venue in Montjuïc, will house 16 Catalan entities linked to the field of additive manufacturing (2 more than last year).
