Barcelona, one of europe's best cities for business

Barcelona has once again secured a place among europe's leading cities for business, a cushman & wakefield report said. according to european cities monitor 2010, the catalan capital takes fifth place among europe's most attractive capitals for locating business headquarters. london, paris, frankfurt and brussels lead the european ranking, with madrid moving down two positions to eighth place.
cushman analyst oriol barrachina stresses that the catalan capital continues to be number one in quality of life and ranks sixth in availability of commercial space. this year, the city has also benefited from lower prices in the office rental market, taking the eighth place in this category.
the european cities monitor survey is conducted each year and it measures 13 quality parameters. it involves interviews with about 500 top-level managers from large companies in nine european countries.
