The global pharma is building a new production unit to increase its capacity for active pharmaceutical ingredients. The expansion will create around 100 new jobs in addition to the existing workforce of 370 professionals.

The airline will relaunch non-stop flights between Shanghai and the Catalan capital with three return flights a week.

The Dutch company AkzoNobel will expand the production capacity of its factories in the Zona Franca and Vilafranca del Penedès (Barcelona).

The lab will serve as a hub for collaboration and excellence, in addition to the Group's current Artificial Intelligence lab in London. 

Galderma employs over 6,500 people worldwide, operates in more than 90 countries, and has production plants in Canada, Sweden, France, and Brazil.

For its establishment in Barcelona, Sony AI has had the support of the Catalan government through Catalonia Trade & Investment.

Led by the Swede David Polfeldt, the project will create 50 jobs and focus on the development of AAA video games for PCs and consoles.

The company is expanding its presence in Catalonia with new facilities, adding to its three existing centers in Barcelona, Parets del Vallès, and Castellví de Rosanes.

The company will create 30 jobs in the Catalan capital, from where it will centralize the growth of its business activity in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
