Harvard University has published a case study that shows how clusters have had a "decisive" positive impact on Catalan companies, and that Catalonia is one of the most developed regions in Europe in this area.

The Saudi Arabian company, which develops mobile video games, considers the Catalan capital "the perfect place" to attract talent.

With a budget of 498 million euros, this project is part of the Trade Fair Infrastructure Plan and is expected to be completed in 2026.

According to an ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment report, these companies employ 2,340 people (35% more than last year) and have a turnover of 161 million euros (+30%).

The United States, France, and Germany have the most companies in Catalonia. Notably, there has been a significant increase in companies from Asia, particularly China and Japan.

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya-BarcelonaTech (UPC) has launched its hydrogen laboratory and green hydrogen production pilot plant. These state-of-the-art facilities serve as a living lab to advance research and innovation in hydrogen technologies, a pivotal energy vector in the transition toward decarbonization.

The world's largest event on cities and urban innovation will take place from November 7 to 9 at the Fira de Barcelona.

This initiative falls within the collaborative agreement between ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment and the America's Cup, ensuring both the competition's technological and industrial impact and its legacy in Catalonia.

The first ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment offices abroad were opened in 1988 in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Milan, and New York.
