Digital company Blexr opens Barcelona office and plans to create 40 jobs

Digital marketing company Blexr will open an office in Barcelona where it plans to create 40 jobs. These new facilities, that will work together with the headquarters in Malta, will support the continued growth of the company in Europe with the launching of new products.

This project by the company is supported by Catalonia Trade & Investment –the Catalan Government’s agency for business competitiveness. The company will inaugurate its new office in Barcelona next week.

The company, which has more than 100 employees, elaborates digital content for brands working in finance and gaming, helping those brands increase their web traffic through a variety of channels including SEO, inbound and email marketing, and pay-per-click. Blexr’s Barcelona office will be home to content writers, SEO analysts, UI/UX designers and IT professionals, among other staff. This team will develop new features and content for its own websites and their clients’ channels, as well as pursuing new business opportunities.

Blexr's COO Eduardo dos Remedios said the company has decided to open an office in Barcelona as the city offers “a large talent pool in technology, product, digital marketing and creative/design”. He added: “Barcelona offers excellent infrastructure and many choices in education for both local and international students. It is a diverse city from a cultural perspective, and diversity helps to promote innovation”. “Opening an office in Barcelona is necessary to both support and act as a catalyst for growth”.

Blexr’s arrival in the city is supported by the Catalonia Trade & Investment office, which is dedicated to foreign investment attraction. This operates from Barcelona alongside a network of 40 foreign trade and investment offices around the world, aiming to attract new foreign investment projects to Catalonia.
