Catalonia’s Clusters Day: Jay Coen and the B Corp movement
Catalan Economy
23 Sep 2021
Jay Coen, the cofounder of the B Corp movement, participated in Catalonia’s Clusters Day to explain how business leaders are embracing a new era where profits are not the only tool to measure success.
B Corp companies meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability. The B Corp movement has certified more than 4,000 companies around the world so far, such as Danone, Unilever, P&G, Nestlé, Coca-Cola or GAP, among many others.
In Catalonia, cluster organizations have been working together with the B Corp community following a pioneering approach. Over the last three years, more than 300 Catalan companies from different clusters have undergone a B Corp assessment. A remarkable achievement that, according to Coen, should be inspiring for other cluster organizations across Europe and around the world.
