Autajon invests in montornès to boost production of durero packaging

The french group autajon is investing 7 million euros to increase production at the plant durero packaging has in the town of montornès, near barcelona. this investment has been supported by the catalan government though invest in catalonia. 

durero packaging, one of the sector leaders in spain, designs and produces packaging for perfume, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, wine and spirits companies. it now plans to create 30 new jobs in its new facilities equipped with machinery that has allowed the firm to increase production by 15%, improve product quality and make its manufacturing processes more efficient. 

durero packaging, founded in 1965, currently employs 200 people and has been part of the french group autajon since 2007. the company, which exports almost 40% of its products, is the spanish market leader for high quality packaging.
