
Amper to invest €4 million per year over four years in global centre of excellence in mobility in barcelona

Spanish multinational amper has just opened its global centre of excellence in mobility in the high-tech 22@ district of barcelona, in which the firm plans to invest a further four million euro per year. the staff of forty working in the building will be responsible for designing solutions for improving safety and security in such diverse areas as ambulance services, for security forces or for accurately tracking vehicles transporting valuable goods or hazardous substances.
chief executive of amper, alfredo redondo, commented, “the barcelona centre of excellence is the outcome of the backing that amper is providing to the cornerstone of the company policy, namely high added value engineering and innovation.”
amper, which also operates in other european states, africa, asia and america via its defence, communications and security divisions, has its key operations offices in madrid, sao paulo and miami.
