Participation in international trade missions and trade fairs

We support Catalan startups and help them participate in different international missions and trade fairs. 

 

  • July 2018, Hong Kong:
    Seven startups from Catalonia will be at RISE Hong Kong 2018,  the largest tech conference in Asia, from July 9th through 12th.
  • May 2018, Amsterdam:
    Ten startups from Catalonia will be at The Next Web Conference 2018,  the Europe's leading tech festival, from May 24th through 25th.
  • November 2017, London:
    Ten startups from Catalonia were at Noah London Conference 2017 last edition of 2017. The event brings together Europe’s top entrepreneurs and C-level executives, and financial, corporate and private investors.
  • September 2017, San Francisco:
    Ten selected startup companies from Catalonia were showcased at TechCrunch's Disrupt SF. These companies span across several verticals, including Health, Gaming, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Music Technology, IoT and EdTech.
  • May 2017, Amsterdan:
    Ten selected startup companies from Catalonia were showcased at The Next Web Conference 2017, the Europe's leading tech festival, from May 17th through 20th.
  • May 2017, Barcelona:
    The Health 2.0 fair is the leading showcase of cutting-edge technologies that transform health systems worldwide. Eight startups were at the fair alongside with Catalonia Trade & Investment. 
  • September 2016, San Francisco:
    Fifteen selected startup companies from Catalonia were showcased at TechCrunch's Disrupt SF, the world’s leading authority in debuting revolutionary startups, introducing game-changing technologies and discussing what’s top of mind for the tech industry’s key innovators.

Europe’s largest dedicated space for startups & entrepreneurs

The Pier 01 Barcelona Tech City is the meeting point for the Barcelona startup & entrepreneurial ecosystem and the largest of its kind in Europe. This historic building houses 70 startups, 1,000 workers, incubators, accelerators and the Barcelona Tech City – the city’s association of companies and start-ups working in digital, tech business and ecommerce-. It organises workshops, conferences and meetings with international investors.
