The Australian firm Polyglot Group consolidates its expansion in Catalonia doubling its workforce and moving to larger offices

  • The HR consultants opened in Barcelona in 2013 in an 88m2 office and have now moved to new regional headquarters with 210m2 and gone from 6 employees to 12. 
  • With clients such as Inditex, Mapfre or Acciona, Polyglot Group offers its services out of the Catalan capital to markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa. 
  • The firm has received the support of Catalonia Trade & Investment, the Government of Catalonia’s foreign investment area.

Barcelona, January 25, 2017.- The Australian firm Polyglot Group, specialised in HR consultancy services, has moved to larger offices thanks to the growth it has undergone since moving to the Catalan capital in 2013. Today the company has a workforce of 12 professionals, and has gone from an office space of 88m2 to new offices with 210m2. In fact, in line with its present rate of growth, the company foresees the creation of 8 to 12 new jobs in 2017.

The search for the new offices was supported by the Catalan Government via Catalonia Trade & Investment.

Polyglot assists companies overcoming human resources and cross-cultural challenges during their internationalization providing solutions in different areas, such as recruitment, local employer branding, human resources consulting and outsourcing, payroll outsourcing, training, and language solutions (translation, interpreting and language coaching). Last year, Polyglot Group Barcelona worked with around one hundred clients from different sectors and backgrounds, including Inditex, Mapfre, Acciona or General Cable, as well as Catalan start-ups and small and medium-sized.

The company, with its head-office in Sydney (Australia), was established in 1995 and currently has 74 employees around the world. In addition to Barcelona, the Australian company has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Madrid, Paris, Cape Town and San Francisco, and soon plans to open new offices in Germany, the UK and the Netherlands.
