Startup mission to Singapore 2019

Eight selected startup companies from Catalonia will be attending the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) and the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) from November 10th to 15th, 2019.

These are the two most relevant events related to innovation and startups held every year in Singapore, where the most innovative technologies will be showcased. The 5 key sectors in this edition will be Advanced manufacturing & engineering, Urban solutions & sustainability, Health & biomedical science, Services & digital economy and Fintech.

A week of activities will bring together global tech ecosystems, entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, innovators and industry professionals across these key sectors. Combined, both events drew close to 57,000 delegates from almost 130 countries in 2018.

The Catalan startups, represented by their founders and supported by the Catalonia Trade & Investment Office in Singapore, will showcase their solutions in Traveltech, Cyber security, Biotech, AI, IT, Digital marketing and Sportech. 


Airning is a startup tech company that provides a hassle-free way to solve incidents related with air-travel. The company is specialized in air claims for long-term delays, cancellations and denied boarding. Because current legislation allows passengers travelling in or out of the EU to make claims regardless of travel insurance, their platform monitors the affected flights and allows user to claim directly from their smartphone.


Build38 is the innovative and cutting-edge provider of the next generation mobile app protection and management platform. We deliver in-app protection (app-hardening), AI-based monitoring and app life cycle management technologies. We protect your mobile apps and backend from known and unknown attacks.



Cebiotex is a biotech company involved in clinical research since 2012. They have a proprietary technology for producing nonwoven nanofiber membranes based on an optimized electrospinning process. Their production technology process solves common problems associated with nanofibers, in particular issues related with reliability.

Dynamo video

Dynamo video has developed a cloud platform that allows video personalization at scale, worldwide and cost effective. Their patented platform can be easily integrated with different DMP and DSP to serve thousands of videos to a specific audience navigating through adserving or social networks in any device: desktop, mobile, tablet or smartTV.


Globalchannelnetwork is a global digital network of local IT distributors. They partner with distributors in every country and work together to provide IT solutions to SMEs. In this manner they can effectively compete with big international players and offer a broader range of solutions.


Landbot started as an internal experiment after its makers got frustrated with AI chatbots. They created a drag-and-drop style bot-builder that doesn’t require coding to support custom conversation flows, a tool that helps SMEs create an engaging interface themselves, without having to plough resources into training high maintenance chat AIs.


Oylo Trust Engineering is a start-up working in the cyber security sector. Joining Operation Technologies and IoT, its main activity is to ensure security in businesses, in particular those with high security needs, such as critical infrastructures and industrial operations.


Socourt helps produce custom videos with your smartphone or smart watch.
