Remote Eye displays its technical assistance technology via video using augmented reality at 4YFN 2018, where it is present at the Catalan Government stand.
The Remote Eye Startup, integrated into the Wideum Solutions group, offers innovative technology that allows video technical support via augmented reality and smart glasses. Therefore, faced with any malfunction, an expert can assist anyone anywhere in the world, offering a quick and effective diagnosis.
When the technician puts on the augmented reality glasses they turn into the eyes and hands of the expert, who advises them remotely by text or voice messages. Over and above the immediate resolution of any technical problem, the tool proposed by Remote Eye also feeds a knowledge base for the company, which then can store solutions to the most common technical problems in a shared space.
With one year behind it, Remote Eye already has a dozen clients on a global scale and is one of the Catalan startups that form part of the Catalan Government stand at 4YFN 2018, the digital entrepreneurship fair celebrated within the framework of the Mobile World Congress.
Furthermore, the company has been accepted for a SME Instrument Phase 1, as part of the Horizon 2020 programme, with its application process receiving assessment from ACCIÓ.
